Today the last standing1, of a series of treaties preventing a nuclear arms race between the US and Russia2, has expired.

People that get their living telling you how these things work might not like it, but it made little sense for US and Russia to fight with a hand behind their back while China isn’t part of these treaties and can do whoever it wants.
So what?
Will your life change from tomorrow? No.
Will your kids and grandkids face the risk of new nuclear weapons developed, tested and possibly deployed? Yes3.
Can you do something about it? No, not really.
So that’s it, back to regular programming? I guess, I just thought you would like to know and remember the day the world choose to go a bit more wild.
